Natural Colored Merinos & ADMRA White Merinos
We raise sheep at Ewephoria Farm. Our natural colored flock of Merinos produce fleeces with a variety of colors: champagne, soft tans, a dark rich chocolate, and silvery gray to black. We cover all the fine wooled sheep to prevent excessive weathering. Most of these sheep have a fine fiber with a crimp count of 10 to 13 per inch and staple lengths of 3.5" to 6". This fiber is ideal for long-draw woolen spinning. It has lots of loft and elasticity, and feels very soft, Items knit or woven from these fine fleeces feel wonderful next to the skin. Micron count varies from 18 to 22 depending on the animal.
